Well iv never been bothered about doing a thread but thought I would knock up a quick 1, started buying parts for the car last sept and began work on the car this January,
Parts I picked up where
Megane 225 complete engine
225 milltec down pipe,225 milltec decat, helix paddle sprung clutch , usual service parts, megane 225 lift pump/sender unit, k tec uprated mounts , vacume fpr.
So then I set about getting on with the work,,,

Then got round too making a custom throttle body mount and lined the jc5 box up to drill and tap the neccery holes

Then got it all bolted together and dropped in place

should fit it in that KA instead! any more pics? is it easy enough to do? enough room in engine bay for it?

Then set about making up a custom power steering pump and alternator mount which done the job but was giving a little vibration thru the car so has now been changed too a own set up from a traffic van, I measured up for size too get the intercooler made up and started routing the pipe work

The build wasn't without it's llittle problems along the way, iv had the car mapped at Rs tuning by Paul, and made 228 at 0.6 bar. Had a few teething problems which iv now sorted out and it's booked back in in a few weeks to crank it up

Not sure about skills I'm in the trade so it's day too day stuff really, I'm using the STD ph1 loom and ecu

thought youd be a n engineer or summat! how hard was getting the gearbox to join/line up?

sorry for the questons, but thought of doing this myself in the future

Quite easy tbh u obv need too use the Clio fly wheel and sump then just a case of trying your box on marking the holes up and drill them out,

No mate I ain't sure about the stud pattern but the injectors are mounted in the top of the inlets the f4rt head has diff inlet port shapes too the f4r for this , so they would just spay up against the head poss get machined tho?

THe car will be up for sale middle of next month after getting mapped. , I'm moving house and have a new project on the go .. .

5,2k I know people always say I wish I could keep the car when there selling but i really do thre has been quite a bit of time and effort put In to it, but needs must

Well for this week I'm going too blast the wheels and paint or powder coat them not quite decided on color yet think might put them back too a silver and get a few new tyres on the rear while I'm on

Yea the power delivery is smooth as all the way thru just keeps giving can't wait too c what it's going too be like at 1.2

Ha yea I guess that's the top and bottom of it like. , think if it ain't sold I might give it a run down York on bank holl weekend

Now for sale due too new project , just been taxed and tested pm for info £5200 also will be posted in for sale section tomorrow with plenty photos

As I said only due too new project, so if any1 looking for part ex with a 106gti or just a rolling shell then u know where I am!!!
