Factory xenons with after market HID bulbs/ballast pack

As above is it possible? My mates 172 ballast pack has blown and looking to just replace with a HID conversion

i have the same problem. u can use an aftermarket pack but their is a lot of messing around with wires that best not be touched lol. you can pick-up a second hand renault 1 on ebay for around the £50 mark! just type in clio ballast
