Havnt updated for some time....
Well the car is going well, seem to be getting it set up perfect on the hill :)
As for what's happened more to the car
Taken the neggy camber spacers off the rear
Dash is totally out and the loom tidied and excess wiring taken out single rev counter fitted.
Had my odyssey battery mounted inside the car.
Back on the toyo r888 hated the dunlop

Car is an animal needs an lsd to tame it

Well the jms has gone along with a few other bits but a few additions are

Only roughly on to measure how much of the front panel needs cutting away.

Sold the ktec exhaust and bought a very light oreca look forward to.hearing how it sounds!
Will be ordering a gen90 tomorrow with software so i can get it running spot on with help from my local tuning specialist.
Plenty to keep me busy over winter

Roughly fitted the itb's so i can cut the front panel for the trumpets to fit nicely behind, will get that finished then install them fully tidying up the cables ect.
Ordered my ecu from ktec with software package so will be able to get this mapped to my requirements. Only thing slowing me down is the lack of an adaptor to connect the tps to throttle wiring.
Given the willwoods a once over trying to.decide of to change the discs.
Going to try make my own plated to lower the steering column as it's to high for.my seating position.

Just fit some 10 or 12mm spacers to where the column bolts on to the bodyshell at the front and refit the rears with none. It makes enough of a difference to the position of the column without putting the uj out of its comfort zone.

What I've found is some brackets from b&q which are the correct length and holes though to small in the correct place fitted 2 either side and works spot on with some extended bolts

Finally got around to fitting my phase 1 throttle peddle and managed to feed the cable through nicely and connected to the bodies, sanded down cleaned and primed my lights ready for paint as I've sold my fibreglass blanks. Not sure on the colour yet still deciding how I want it to look.
Got the new steering fitted to the snap on boss looks sweet! :)
Next jobs to do are
Chase k-tec for a tps adaptor
Fit oreca properly
Set height of rear coilovers
Start the car for the first time on bodies :)

Remind me what the tps adaptor looks like as i have the ktec software too with leads and dongle

Tps adaptor is what you plug the tps from the bodies into the old throttle body lead as they connection's on each won't directly connected which is a pain! Apparently ktec had some one making them using old vw bosch lamba sensors but they can't source enough parts currently

Engine wise, really boils down to what I can afford in the new year, im still running standard internals and cams, ideally like to install 421 cams and a new remap and a baffled sump.

Car wise, stiffen the rear beam and add spherical bearings, as well as new weld in seat mounts.
What benifits do you get from a baffled sump?
Yeah I really want a set of cams but it's just the outlay of fitting them that puts me off and the lack of people local to me that can do it. After buying the gen90 im wiped out for a while

I believe these engines dont need them due to the design of the pick up, but was chatting to a friend who says its better to have one to protect the head/cams from oil starvation, so better to be safe than sorry, still on the fence tbh. Did I hear that pms was doing a baffled sump?

I had heard something about it but not seen anything, I was looking at there stiffening kit but the rear of my car already quite stiff with the arb and the coilovers
