Hey, i bought a nikon d60 in the end, i have noo idea how to set it up


I tried to do some night pics, but they was too dark, or too blurry ...

Also close up pics i was unsure how to make them fine etc...

Does anyone know how to set these things up ?

oh great cheers guy, everytime i did a night shot, it was blurry all the time, does the shutter spped mean like it captures a wider range of light etc ? So ill put it on 30 seconds, does it like capture alot more ?

It's blurry because you're holding it whilst the shutter is open for that length of time. It needs to be placed on something solid, or even better, a tripod. The shutter time being open longer lets more light in yes.
 
did you read the manual?????????????????

too dark would be underexposed, not enough light getting in

too blurry would be too long a shutter speed

read the manual first, and I mean read not just skim through
