Fitted RS192 to Clio..

  Clio 182, Megane 225
Not happy with how it's sat we tried everything to align it up. Anyone else had problems? Also the centre section mount is touching the rubber no matter how much we twist it? Any advice is welcome!

To be honest the metal and welding work look really good. The exhaust sounds perfect and quiet in comparison to what it had on before. I'll take it to an exhaust specialist who will only complain that I didn't get one made by them [emoji23]

Ha.. !

Get them to tuck it in tight to the bumper too as most of them seem to poke out and cause a trip hazard tbh (Only from what I've seen!)

Make sure its straight too!

I shouldn't honestly think a specialist place would charge much, as it's only an adjustment etc. Just make sure they are specialists and not welding with cheese

Cut the rubber out the rear mounts and use the power flex exh001 mounts in original castings.slot the sides and it gives you a bit of adjustment and the mounts will last longer than 12 months. bonus.

Mine took ages to get right! As above, I used the powerflex mounts in the original castings and several penny washers as spacers between them and the chassis and it now lines up really nicely. With the original hangars on there was no chance. My only gripe is the RH pipe sticks out 5 mm more than the LH pipe, but it's not the end of the world and isn't *that* noticeable. You just have to stick with it, have everything loose and get it positioned before tightening it all up.

Pile of s**t this exhaust. Alignment of it is a joke.

Bought mine last year and it fitted perfect first time. Reading threads like this maybe I was lucky with the fitment. I used all new genuine Renault mounts and fittings. I hung the backbox firstly. Had a mate hold the tailpipes level and I then rotated the centre box to the right place before clamping tight to the back box. Have had no issues.
