fitting aftermarket steering wheel?

  182 inside
hi all, just wondering which boss everyone is using?

does it put out airbag lights?
do you retain abs/traction control use?
keep the original steering wheel distance/position?

any advice is a bonus before i spend money;)

Fitted Dan's last weekend...

clicky

Yes it puts out airbag lights, but you can put resistors in to stop the light.
OMP or momo boss.

Flat wheel needed, unless you have short arms, you won't need dished.
Doesn't affect abs/traction control.

You will lose cruise, if you have it though.

www.rallynuts.com is a good place to order from.

My one... Sabelt Monaco 350mm

Just ordered one of these wheels and got sparco horn buttons ordered too - which is the best boss to use - I've found momo and omp ones are the most common for sale. Which (if any) of these has the kit to turn the airbag light off with it? If neither which boss does, or where would I order an airbag resistor kit from?

Cheers.

As I said above, either boss will do.

You just need to buy resistors from Maplins.

Between 1.8 to 6.2 Ohms will do.

Remember to disconnect battery for 20 mins first, before you remove airbag.
;)

or prepare to have a broken nose when the airbag pops out lol. yeh takin the battery out first tricks the ecu into thinking the airbag has never been touched lol. is there not a guide about it on here?, just to make sure he does it right :)
