Fitting new rear exhaust mount on 182

Ok so I got myself a couple of new rear exhaust mounts from renault. I have got the first off no probs, now I have never done this before and am not the best with cars, but I cannot seem to get the new mount onto the metal hanger bit, it just seems too tight...any tips? Help! lol

do you have to adjust it afterward? i need some too - mine is hanging down and to the left... how much they sting you ?
