How do I stop websites from moving the typing cursor thing?

What I mean, is where a website such as yahoo, moves the cursor to their search box as soon as it opens. You used to be able to do this really easily with firefox ages ago, but I can't remember how! OS is W7 (64) if that makes a difference.

Google has failed me btw.

Is that not an OS setting?

It's called snap to, and under mouse settings.

^^ May have it set as homepage, so when u open FF u want to type in a url into the address bar but it has selected the Yahoo search box instead.
