Getting my CV down to 100kb...

I'm trying to apply for a job but when I go to upload my CV it tells me that my CV needs to be 100kb or less.

It is currently 131kb in Microsoft Word. It was 124kb then I deleted loads of spaces and text that weren't needed but the size went up!

Any advice on how to get it down to 100kb?

Before anyone asks, it's not a fancy crappy CV. It's size 8/9, Arial Font, no borders or colour or anything like that.

rich text format might bring it down abit, assuming you have it saved as a doc or docx

If its a word file, theres the problem.

Save it as a .txt file or .rtf

(txt will lose formatting)

How many words? Is everything you've entered relevant? Ie no stories from brownies etc,

lol! Delete the job experience of wrapping up xmas tree's! that'll take it down to 100Kb.

I only have my four jobs since leaving sixth form on there....haven't added the temp job from last week which was folding free recycling bags
