I've got an 8800GT 512MB at the moment and with the sales coming up thought I might upgrade it to a 9800 GTX+ 512MB but I'm not sure I'll see enough of a performance increase to bother?
I like to play at 1680x1050 where possible.
System:
Athlon 64 X2 4600+
4GB (2x 2GB) OCZ PC2 6400 Dual Channel
Vista Home Premium 64bit
For those in the know is it worth spending around £100 - £130 which is what they are right now, would hope to save a few quid come the sales.
At the moment I'm playing the likes of:
Farcry 2
COD WAW
Fallout 3
Dead Space
NFSU
GRID
I had problems with Farcry and had to turn some of the graphical settings down.
