Gripper diff for my track car.

I've done a deal on a gripper diff box for my track car I have a couple questions though.

Box is a none cup 172 box out of a 2002 model and will be going in my 2004 182 none cup clio, will this be ok? I believe it is just the spedo drives that differ however unsure on what boxes.

Also is there any way to check the box has the diff fitted? I have receipts from a transmission specialists for the work done but just wanted to be 110% sure?

Saw this advertised. Box will be fine fitted.

Best way is to test drive the car with the box fitted to it, has it been broken? Or you can inspect the diff but thats above my knowledge

Aye that was my plan, had a Honda civic with a helacal LSD before but never drove anything with a gripper, do they make any noises I should be aware of wines or anything?

Had a gripper in my old cossie and you could hear it slipping on tight turns. Didn't meet to thrash it but unsure what it will be like to test in fwd.

Lowish speed tight turn and you should hear the friction plates clunking on a gripper

You can get one wheel off the floor and check what it's locking at, can't remember the torque figures though sorry.

Box with diff is here! Quick question.... With honda LSD I know if there is a bar across the input shaft it means it isn't a lsd box would this be the same for clio gripper diffs?

Honda ones are helical mind
