Heater help!

hi all! For some unknown reason my blowers are stuck on! The heat will change and fan speed, but when I switch them off they blow fast out of the demisters??? Any ideas?

Sort of, I believe its a resistor under the scuttle panel under the drivers side of the windscreen, only I haven't got round to fixing it yet as my aux belt tensioner has packed in

ok cool, thanks. thats the same answer i have found on here too. just wanted to confirm a fix before i throw money at it.
the aux tesioners must be a weak point. mine snapped a couple of years ago :S

i got this problem sorted yesterday. i ordered a new transistor off ebay and a mate soldered it on for me. very cheap and easy fix! the guide on here is great.
