help/advice needed

noticed a clunking sound coming from front ofside area then steering began to pull so decided to take it slowly home pop bonnet and investigate and was greeted with this so just wondering whats gone wrong and how to fix it

Whats it look like from above? I think you need a new one... Usually just call the RAC out and let them tell me..
