renault clio 197
Basically I today I was on my way to college and about 10 minutes in to my journey the car cut the power and it would only turn over for a few seconds then stop. The red light on the dash stays red and the car will turn for roughly 3 seconds and stop I turn the ignition off and back on and it still stays red.
Sometimes it's will just flash red in which case it does not even turn over.
Eventually after waiting I will turn the ignition on and the light will go off and it fires but then cut out about roughly 5 minutes after ?
Any ideas could it be the key fob? could it be the ignition barrel? the imobilliser? the crank sensor? I'm really out of ideas for it. It's a mk2 ph2 Clio 1.4 16v
