help needed

i was driving home from work this morning when my service light and traction contol light came on for no reason, i was wondering if anyone has had this happen before and what has caused this and is it safe too drive????

only serviced 3000 miles ago only done 26000 in total

my mates did the same a while back the service light then traction control played up but his actually needed a service just reset the computer maybe? prob just dodgy renault electrics

could it be when i was driving home from work it was pissing down and puddles all over the road could something have got wet. ie a sensor or something?

Sounds like a trip to the stealers, around £75 for it checking out on there computer.
