how easy can the cup stripes be removed?

as above am looking for a RB 182 but all the good ones stripes and i realy done like them, so was just wondering how easy it would be to remove them after buying one

Warm them up with a hot air gun or hair dryer, that will make the glue soft so they should peel off it might leave a trace of glue behind but this can be cleaned off with a little white spirit.

you could always pull one off from the bonnet or something and if its bad just buy another 1 and put it back on.

worst case scenario is you pay out a bit of cash for a blow over and hide the faded bits.

Ghost stripes could look some what good :rasp:

I guess theres only one way to find out... ive read a few times people have removed them with no paint fade.
