Immobiliser light on all the time.

My immobiliser light is on all the time, and to start it i have to put the key in straight away and turn it, some times takes a few attempts.
The light stays on all the time when its driving too?
Has any one ever had this problem, and were in a 2002 clio 172 cup would the immobiliser decoder be?
Might send the decoder off to a company who can fix it or fit a bypass.

It's in the ring barrel IIRC. Tried changing the batteries in the key?

Yep changed both batteries in both keys. The mad thing is the car still starts affter a few attempts?
Been told that it could be a comunication break down between the decoder and the ecu?
Thing is i have a none std ecu in its a gen90.

if it's not the keys, usually it is a ring around where you put the key that fails...
