installing fuel rail advice plz

Very simple. I've replaced the lower inlet and have put the fuel rail back in but its not full of petrol since its been off the car. Do I just plug the fuel line back in and start the car and the air in the rail will get pushed clear. Or do I need to top the rail up first to get the air out?

When I took mine off a couple of times, I just used to plug it all back together and start it up..
It'll obviously take a few more cranks than normal to start.
