Update.

The car developed a misfire over the last week or so. I checked the coilpack was ok, but it didn't look like it was in it's best shape ever. Remove the top inlet the check the HT leads were belling out ok, which they were. But I was a little confused, as it hadn't chucked any fault codes up.

Decided to try a different coilpack, which cabronraider kindly gave me. No luck, still not firing on 4 cylinders. The pin on the coilpack for cylinder 1 was completely black, and I though it could maybe of been the head if the lead. So took a trip down to ECP and bought a new set of HT leads up.
On the way back the engine management came on and flashed. Plugged the car into the RSTuner and it was Injector 4. Replaced it and the car is back to normal. Happy Days!

Took the car to EFI parts today for a rolling road meat and the car put out 180.6 and 159.9 lb ft, which I'm really happy with. I'll post a picture up of the graph and a short video soon.

Literally had the same problem with mine last week and all the same symptoms. Fortunately, a nice cheap fix.

Power figures are impressive too.

Bloody Renaults!. I was a bit supposed when it wasn't the coilpack though.

Really happy with the figures though, it does drive very nicely.

Are there any noticeable gains to be had with the Ktec Induction setup then?

I've always fancied one just for the noise tbh.

I've never ran a standard airbox set up on the 182, so I can't comment on that really. Certinatley sounds good.

Good result. Sounds about right with the RSTuner 98ron, my original engine ran 165lb/ft without PAS/Aircon etc so thats probably where the few extra came from.

My engine was 172bhp and 161lbft after we sorted it out that was with the PAS/Aircon delete aswel

Great results joe.. Always willing to help and give away free parts even if it does mean changing the injector in the pouring rain :p I know you would do the same :)

Just a quick update.

I ordered up a few bits and bobs the other week. Which consisted of a pair of new Bosch wiper blades, which I'll fit when I have my windscreen replaced. A new header tank, and come Type D coolant. And my harness turned up too.

Drained the coolant from the bottom radiator hose, and did a full flush etc.

New vs old..

New coolant in, and bled and let the car warm up and topped it up again. Didn't take any more photo's :(

The it was time to fit the Harnesses, only have the one photo for the time being.

Right then, I decided to go for a pair of 15mm H&R spacers. And the Pure Motorsport stud conversion kit for ease of taking wheels on/off. Brilliant bit of kit and nice and easy to fit.

While the studs where drying I decided to fit my new climate control unit, as my old one had a lost a little paint. And didn't really look too good.

And then yesterday I took the car on track once again at Oulton Park. Perfect day weather wise for it, a few red flags was a bit annoying, but apart from that it was great. Had lots of photo's taken by Niall, Red Cup, Paul M and MSPhotographic. Thanks guys.

Looking great!

Regarding the coolant flush was the 5L bottle enough? Also did you take the thermostat off to flush?
Thanks.

5L was fine for me (still have a little bit left). Although I didn't remove the thermostat no, so some of the old coolant would of still been circulating in there.

Not heard a bad thing about the pure motorsport stud kit. Shame its just a bit pricey, but i guess you'd rather pay on quality than scrimp, especially with something that holds the wheels on. Have you got any pics of the studs fitted with the wheels on?
Cool pic on track with you and the cup :race:

Where did you get the coolant bottle from Joe and how much?

Yeah, I looked at the ktec kit too. But as more people use the PMS kit I thought I may as well go full out. Especially when it holds your wheels on like you say.

It's a nice photo isn't it. I bought it from Renault Wolverhampton, can't remember how much I paid though sorry :(
