Just Cleaned Pics of my 182 (one for the detailers)

  Arctic 182FF + Escort Van
Went out today and brought a new wash mitt and waffle towel (both Meguires) and they just had to be used. So gave the car a quick wash and took some pics on the SLR for all you lovely people.

No polishing or waxing today, just a lot of TLC over the last few weeks.

I've been trying to decide on colour... and that's just done it for me :)

What did you clean it with previously? Which combo?

Firstly it gets a good hose down, particularly under the arches and areas where i know there will be lots of loose dirt as i dont want any of this getting smeared across the bodywork.

I clean it with the two bucket technique. One with warm water, the other as a rinsing bucket for rinsing the meguirers mitt i use. The mitt prevents grit and dirt from scratching the bodywork. I used Turtle Waxs Shampoo, have always been impressed with the results, but Ive got some meguires shampoo now which i will be using in the future.

Once washed from top to bottom, she gets another good rinse off and then a leather with a meguires waffle cloth.

She gets washed once a week, and I usually polish and then wax when I feel the car needs it.

At the moment, theres no swirls in the paintwork apart from on the roof.

The SLR has brought it up well, but it looked even shinier in the flesh!!!
