Knackered 172 speakers

My car was in at Renault Leicester for 4 days whilst they did some warranty jobs.

When I got in and turned the ignition on the stereo was really loud, so I turned it down and switched it off.

Used the stereo for the first time since then, and now the speakers are making horrible farty noises, especialy on bassy tunes, does this mean they are knackered? if so theyll be fitting me some new speakers!

possibly or:

Have a look and see if theyve got the LOUD option on, if they have it increases Bass below 15 on the volume, hence it well distorts!! Turn it off and try again.

GO check NOW as i need to know if Im right!

Sorted, what they had done was switch on the loudness and crank up the bass and treble to their max settings, ars*holes!
