but i cant afford to pay out 500 quid in one go

was looking into monthly

29.1 apr

think it came to 689.99

is there any other laptops good spec

sub 500 pref below.

on finance, needs a built in webcam, and too look nice

my only pref and wireless

I went for the XPS M1330, I think they start around the 500 Mark. Mine set me back 1k. Drop them a ring build your system and see what they can do for you.

Buy now pay in 12 months. Just divide the cost of the laptop by 12 and put that away each month and pay it all off in 12 months. 0% APR doing that unless you don't pay it off in 12 months then they will rip you off big style lol.

Dixons do good finance - 12 months interest free and you can put a bigger deposit down too, no charge for using finance either.

Tis what I'm doing. If you dont pay the early settlement of £49 + the price of the laptop, it goes onto a loan. But that gives you plenty of time to save up, so you can pay it off anyway, surely?

If you pay it over 6 months.

You have to pay £530 for the laptop, 5% of that as deposit (£26.50) straight off so you divide the rest (£503.50) over the 6 months and send them a cheque about 2 weeks before the 6 months is up with the admin charge of £30 (usually)

Add £10 to the bill or whatever for an accessory, as it says you need to.

Never done it before myself, but I know peeps who have.
