I bought mine @55k and at 7 years without belts. I got it for a good price and took the risk, booked it in straight away and all was good! Risk worth taking if the money is right!

£5k would be a great price for that anyway, I was looking at that one yesterday too and wondered if it needed work doing.

Still a good price. Just get it booked in for the cambelt straight away and it's win win. U should still be able to get it for under £5k with cambelt done and it taxed!!

i would chance it, an i bet your never turn back, stunning colour but i do hate it when dealers get there mitts on these beauties

If you like it upon inspection and S/H is good apart from belts, then I'd get it. I paid close to that for mine in black gold privately! And if you get the belts done, you know they've been done and will last you a good while! Liquid yellow and racing blue hold their value! Liquids are a little rarer with the cup packs too.

Bought my petrol blue in a similar way a few weeks ago. It's a 2004 with 47k miles and had missed its belt being done. I got the dealer to do the belt with me paying £200 towards it in the end. At the end of the day, unless the belt goes no damage has been done. if he gets it done asap then all is good. Prob worth telling the dealer that the belt would clinch the deal.

I paid a little under £5k for mine 3 month ago with belts done, just needed a service. So similar price I reckon.

Saw this yesterday,

If it was later in the year, I would have bought this already.

Great price even though the cam belt hasn't been done, get it bought.

No mate, saw it on autotrader.

I've had 2 182's and a 200 and want a ly182 next.

Just got a mortgage and get a company car anyway so I've got to save up and get one later on in the year for a weekend car.

Can't you knock off a bit for the cambelt?

They arn't a specialist so you could try and play the intelligent but tbh this works better on female private sellers.

The guy i spoke to seems to know what hew talkin about tbh so i doubt it will make any difference.. Its something he should take into concideration but perhaps the price already reflects this..

possibly-

Although sourcing individual 182's- RB/LY is a lot harder than say a 200 or 197/ F1 especially if you want a sub 40k vehicle-

that car is probably 5k all said & done- tax/ belts etc- so on those miles its not that cheap- remember a bargain is only a bargain if its cheap V actual value- not cheap per say!!

This must just be new in that garage. I walked past the garage on Saturday and didn't see it. I'd snap it up if I were you.

4k for an ly?? This wont be around for long, looks like it might be slightly lowered, and have some kind of aftermarket exhaust. Original will probs have fallen off by now tbh. I'd take a look at this, before its gone.
