Lowering

A mechanic showed me a set of springs (was told that it is from Holland and Koni uses them!) which he fixed up on a few clio 1.4rt. Was told that the springs could be used for my 172. Any way to verify his claim cos I am interested in letting him do the job.

Btw, he told me that the springs lower by 35mm. Would my stk stocks be unduly stressed?

i dont think youll get the same amount of lowering as the 172 ride height is lower anyway and the shockers etc are probably a different size.
