I know a lot on here won't be a fan but luckily I didn't buy it to please a load of fugly people on the internet.

I love it!
It's (so far) a really good car and has more gizmos than you could ever actually need but I suppose that's the appeal.

It's their latest 75D with a 0-60 time of 4.2s and a range of 304 miles (lol)
Just for clarification, the 100D has the same 0-60 time but more range BUT is over £20k more.
The P100D is silly quick (2.5s to 60) but is circa £50k more so that was never going to happen.
This is definitely a happy medium.

See.... Lots of pointless 'gizmos'

No idea what this stuff means. Wish they'd just show a MPG but the electric version to make it easier for non geeks to understand.

I like these.

Step dad test drove one of tesla, can't remember which one and tried it in insane mode or whatever it's called and he was impressed. Said it was motorbike levels of acceleration and he knows, he's got 3 of them.

Cool that, over 300 miles worth of range is bloody good as well.

Wheels would look better silver though.

It won't get that sort of range. Probably closer to 230 miles with the way it'll be driven.
Wheels looked s**t in silver, this is only temporary until I can find someone stupid enough to swap them for their 21" turbines.

They are growing on me but those wheels look woeful. Silver would look a lot fresher on that colour.
The dash is cool but I hope you can turn the brightness down for driving at night with the size of that ipad.
Not a bad effort I think and its just the start we will all be in them in 20 years.

It's lovely. Sort them wheels out though. They shouldn't even be an option..lol

If you drive it like a little old lady:tongueout:

Even over 200 isn't bad though.

Just googled the Turbines, yeh they look well better.

Rather that than a Renault.
Colour looks like it came out a mid-70's Rover catalogue, but I'm hardly one to speak about colour choices.

It looks so f**king s**t though!!

I get the hype with them but the looks bore me to death.
They wouldn't sell as well if they had 'futuristic' looks. They just wanted to make a normal looking car with decent tech.

That's why people struggle with some of the smaller EV cars whereas if they made an all electric Jazz, people would go bat s**t over it

It does make me laugh that people keep telling us how evil people are if they date to use a mobile phone in their car, while car manufacturers are busy sticking massive bloody touchscreens in the dashboard. Totally mental.

Hmmm.. it's 'cool' but just a shame they make it look so insignia/mondeo!

That's precisely why it's cool. They haven't done what BMW did with the i3/i8 and made them look ridiculous. This is a normal car that happens to be electric. It's what all car companies should be working towards instead of producing show-off tat.

I use autopilot for 19 miles of my 23 mile commute. If i'm not going to use the massive ipad, i'll be on my phone.
If Tesla really wanted safety to be the absolute number one, they'd design autopilot to only work if you keep both hands on the steering wheel.

All I will say is, f**k owning any EV without a manufacturers warranty.

Autopilot? What does this mean in normal human speak?

I had a passenger ride in one of these last year. Was in ludicrous mode? I have never been in a car that accelerated so hard. The power delivery was instantaneous, literally like flicking a switch to full power. No waiting for an engine to get into it’s stride.... amazing thing. Totally changed my perception of electric cars.

The car drives itself.
Changes the speed, changes lane, adapts to the conditions etc.
Don't need to touch anything at all, just drives me up the M1 by itself.

I know it’s not comparable but my dad has a Nissan Leaf and off the line it’s great. There is definitely an appeal to electric power

Did lol at blanking the plate. Only thieves with a knowledge of charging stations need apply.

Love them, couldn't have one as an only car, but brilliant things. Can you turn the giant screen off at night?

Lol.
I just don't want my cars associated with a clio forum ;)

For me, I do 50 miles a day so this is easily do-able as an only car. I very rarely do long journeys and have a few petrol cars to use if need be but this will do 99% of my journeys.
EV's are a long way off being the car for everyone but Tesla in particular are definitely heading in the right direction.
