Mixing tyre compounds? Yokohama A048

Has anyone had experience of running different compounds of A048's at the same time?

I have a set of soft and a set of medium.

As the fronts are worked much harder I was thinking if it would make sense to run medium on the front and soft on the back?

Havent used AO48 but have used 888's with a mix of soft and medium and as you said medium on front and soft on the back is the way to go.
However I would ( and have ) reversed this set up in wet conditions though ( very wet cadwell park ).

Medium front soft back Ao48s is what my Dad runs as a permanent set up on his R5 race car.

Perfectly ok to mix compounds front and rear and you may even find like we did this is a much better way to go in terms of tyre wear and also lap times.
