Mobil 1 for my 172?

Ive got some mobil 1 left over in the garage 3.5 litres of it, so i was thinking if i buy a few litres off of the oilman then i can have a full change using that.

What id like to know is.. its 0 - 40w is that ok?

I used mobil 1 in my 1.6, made it a bit tappy tbh. Wont be using it again.

Mobil 1 is a lot cheaper from a local Motor Factors store than Opie Oils.

I paid 36 quid from TMS a few weeks back for 5 litres

I've got 2 litres unopened. Renault used to give me a litre at service.

If someone wants to swap them for a few beer tokens let me know.

0 - 40w is fine, but really its a little thin.

Whats the best 5w40 to use? Is Shell Helix one of the better ones?
If so, Bing, you can get it cheap online. It's what the dealers use.... but then again, that doesnt always say much!
