got me new clio last week and i luv it(use to have a 5dr corsa)

the deal is ive got a blaukpunkt casablanca cd51 cd player and ive been told in order to get the remote control workin il need a adaptor but there about £55 any 1 no if theres cheaper ones

they are pretty expensive. there is one for my pioneer stereo but for 50 odd quid I can live without steering wheel controls tbh

Thats mad, the adapter for the sony headunits is about £10-£20. Go to an ICE specialist shop, or is that where you got the £55 quote.

I bought a new Pioneer and Cd Changer from CarAudioDirect and also the remote. I found the remote useless and didnt work unless I pointed at the head unit (even thoughit its designed to attach to the steering wheel).

When I told them about this they didnt offer a refund or any solution what so ever. Quick enough to take my money but not so quick to solve the problem! Markes out of ten = 0!
