New LCD TV - 32"

I know this has been asked a million times before but I'm after a 32" LCD TV and havent got a clue which one to go for...

I hear Samsung's are good as well as Toshiba's?!

I've always been a Sony fan but I've been told they dont have the sharpest picture quality :S

I don't want to spend much more than £600 really.

Any ideas?

Are Sony's still that good?! I hear they are not as good as other brands :S

Think is worth paying £200 more for the sony or is the Toshiba a bargain?

The D series is excellent. Probably the best picture you'll get on a 32". They are releasing some 1080p 32" screens soon but I'm not sure it will make much difference at that size. I haven't had a demo yet. All I can say is go and compare. Make sure there's a decent signal going through it though ie. don't go to Comet.

I have 42inche plasma panasonic in lounge and recently purchased a 32inche lxd70 lcd panasonic 4 bedroom. Awsome 4 quality picture and sound. If u were to go 4 anything else i would suggest Pioneer.

Could i just ask.... i'm reading quite alot of reviews saying that digital TV (freeview) looks sh1te on anything bigger than a 32" LCD?

I'm looking to get one of the following:
