I figured i'd show you fellas and ladys how things are coming along. Slowly. Very slowly.
I havent posted pictures since purchasing, nearly a year ago now.
So here's how she started;
17s. Colour coded. Clear side repeaters. Usual standard mods i suppose.
I then has a spell of unluckyness.
The girlfriends driving(rear bumper). I had a lovely foreign women drive in to me one night. Right before my eyes. In to my front bumper. 2 head gaskets had gone, failed mot. Stearing column went, wrote the chassis off. Smashing two alloys. The car was slowly on it's way down.
Slowly but surely i re gathered parts. Had a good service. Timing belt, aux etc etc. Got a pair of 14s which im pretty happy with. Not to mosts taste but its the look im going for.
I then started a hand made back box over xmas.Which im pretty chuffed with. Hongs out a reasonable sound. Again, going with what i wanted, nothink to ott.
I then got a set off 60mm springs courtesy off Mcaff. Which for 14s gave me a very very good stance. And the ride, personally, is better than standard. Took away all of the creaks and cracks from inside. I then went for something a bit different, yellow and black wheels. Hmm.Whos gonna quote khalifa first. Not to sure on it myself, cant find a way of tieing it in with the rest off the car. Bumper was filled and sprayed. And everything is coming along just nicely.
So yes, any ideas on how to link the wheels with something would be highy appreciated. I was thinking of, black side strips with yellow bullets....I know standard callipers aren't high rated to be painted, but might tie it in.
Front bumper needs a respray. Could do with a bit more low, but im happy for now. 172 seats have crossed my mind. Ideas for were to go next really. But overall. Im happy. Comments and ideas please.
