Noob sorry - New drive shft, ABS ring rubbing - could this cause stalling/idle probs?

  172 Phase 2
i'm having idle/stalling probs with my 172. problem appeared about a month after having new drive shaft. it's the only work i've had done since buying it 5 months ago. went to local garage other day cos car felt off at the front and brakes a little noisey. cleaned up brakes all good...

but they pointed out to me that the ABS ring was rubbing and wearing away (visible) on the ABS sensor they said. the new ring is also wider than the original on the other side.

could this cause or be in anyway related to my ideling prob??? basically stalls at junctions when braking and clutch fully pressed. and i have to catch it.

just a yay or nay will do from someone in the know :p been reading like crazy and think it's tb, map, tdc, tps but just wanted to check.

Cant see that being the problem, the ABS light would be on if there was a fault with that.

As far as the rubbing on the sensor, get the bracket that the sensor fits into and carefully bend it away so that the sensor is just missing the ring. Someone has prob replaced the ring on the shaft that's slightly thicker.

Sounds like a possible throttle body fault.
