Oman/UAE clio 200

Brother just sent me some snaps. Lives in muscat but went to get pissed in Abu Dhabi with his mates - 4 hr drive ish.
Went to go look at some super duper driving Road near ras Al khaimah but he lost his sat nav signal and got the wrong one!
Google 'road to nowhere jebel jais' for the one he was supposed to get.
Anyway here are some desert snaps

I got woken up to WhatsApp barrage this morning of these pictures.
Only clio rs in Oman as far as I'm aware. Had to hunt for it in dubai on the dubizzle website and faff about re registering in Oman.
We have it easy here, finding a decent one and registration is a ballache over there, thanks God for the dvla here!
Thought it'd make a bit of difference to the usual shots anyway.

He's after an induction kit as his last car was an R32 golf - obviously never going to be as throaty but what's the best ik for the 200? And would it be a different fitment being lhd?

Sweet! He says he misses his r32 - this could help! Ha. That'll be gone soon as a toy for some rich Arabs 5 year old. Nice find

It's about £14,300 now, so if it was £28k when he started out he was dreaming. All he needs is someone in France to spot it, they'll go mad for it!

Dreaming over here maybe, not so much over there where money is used for wiping your bum! Was worth a try I guess.

Yeah true! The location, roll cage & new engine do it no favours.

Possibly. Then it puts people off for parts and stuff - would say servicing but that doesn't happen over there!
Oman isn't as flash as dubai so very niche. His golf did go quick tho and I had skme Arab chase me down when I was driving there in his old wrangler to ask how much I'd sell it to him for there and then!! Wrangler is in high demand for the dunes tho.
