Performance chips?

Im looking to increase the performance of my little 1.2, but without increasing my insurance to much.

What are all these performance chips about and are they any good?

Not realy worth it on a 1.2, Ktec do a remap its about an extra 8bhp claimed iirc. You would be better taking weight out of the car, less weight = more performance and economy.
