Phase 1 172 Steering Wheel

Would it be possible to fit a Phase 1 172 steering wheel to a Mk2 Phase 1 1.2 8v and still have the airbag working?

Hope so cos mines on its way! I think Ill probably use my airbag if possible, but im not particularly looking forward to changing it. Should be good when its done.
