Pinch Bolt on lower ball joint

I'm not having much luck here. The two nuts on the lower ball joints undo lovely.

The nut on the pinch bolt came off lovely on both sides.

But I cannot get the pinch bolt out of the hub. Its bloody welded!.

Any tips?.

Tomorrow i'm gonna take the brake carriers off so i can get some decent access and put my cordless impact wrench on it but im not holding my breath.

Bigger hammer?

Impact gun will loosen it off. Just tap it out from the other side, had the same problem when changing mine.

^ that, try and get it to spin first of all then hammer and a punch.

You just need to get the bolt spinning to 'free it off'

A good soak i9n WD40 should help it along.

Then knock it out of a hammer.

Ok thanks for the replies. I'll wack the brake carriers off tomorrow as I can't get my gun on the head of the bolt with them in the way.

Hopefully the gun will do it.

Managed to get to gun to spin them then I smashed them out with a club hammer. Job done.
