Is it worth getting a viper cold air induction kit?

i have heard that these are the best inducion kits to get

While on the subject of IK's, theres a group test feature in the back of a mag (cant mind the name) out this month based on a ph2 172 - dosent feature the Maxogen though but has the Viper all be it half set up

They cost so much, itg in standard box sounds appealing as it will be slightly quieter. i havent got a standard box

The question that i really need the answer to is

Will the viper cold air induction kit make a difference to my pipercross induction kit (non cold air)

and where would i run the cold air feed too... i like my spotlights (although they tend to get me in trouble)
