Please Help Someone Must Know How To Do This!!

Ok this is my problem :dapprove:

I have got a Renault Clio MK2 PH1 (year 2000) it currently does not have a rev counter.

I recently bought a set of Original Renault Clio dials with a rev counter for my car they fit perfectly and everythings works perfectly except for the rev counter itself.

I have been to my local Auto Electricians but they are as stumped as me.

They did the test to make sure all the move etc needles and everything works including the rev counter but does not work with the engine itself

Does anyone on here know how to get the Rev counter to work?

PLEASE I NEED HELP WITH THIS THERE MUST BE SOME WAY OF GETTING IT TO WORK

you'll probably have to change the wiring loom under the dash, speak to 16v_jon he's an electrical geekoid

tacho feed from coil? might find there is a plug with no wire in it.

yeah im guessing youll need something from the actually loom to put a conection to the rev meter,
my old 205 didnt have a rev meter lol just a massive clock was really funny
