A few of you may know this car as it is already on here,

First of all I brought it spares or repair as Campbelt has gone, :(


Got it home took the thing apart to find out that a tensioner had broke and chewed its way through the cambelt,

Also checked valves and all seems to be okay all are straight and true , although we are going to do a compression test to be 100%

Gotta wait for some more funds after christmas and this little beaut should see Tarmac January.

someone correct me if i'm wrong, but im 99% sure you will only run 428 or 438 cam's on a standard ECU, if you upgrade the ECU you can then run 421's, but to run 420's you also need upgraded engine internal's...

yeh mate i saw you sunday night, i was the lad in the polo 9n that kept staring at your car lol :p and car wont be on the road till im 21 although a few might see me out and about on the track in the summer :)

Well let me know dude cause i really want a set. I've got my ph2 172 alloys for swaps, or a random set of 14" old Porsche rims you've probably never seen and wont fit the clio haha.

Name a price though :p

Cheers pal :) so does the clio cant wait to get mine sorted im awaiting a big delivery tomorow so expect updates after i finish work at 3 )

Rich mentioned it earlier mate, I dont know yet. I want to Lifeshine and prep the 172 for the winter this weekend, so we'l see how much i manage to get done, as im planning on going Christmas shopping Saturday afternoon!

Had a nice tax rebate and pennis for crimbo lol, next month will be slow progress because i need new brakes for polo, think im only gunna buy cambelt kit and new rubber for the clio :)
