PS3 YLOD FIX

My launch ps3 got yellow light of death this week, so had a bash at fixing it, i have allready fixed a ps3 bluray lazer before so had a good idea of how they came apart,

youtube videos were great.

just put it back together and it works lol (for how long i dont know)

I did much the same at the weekend but I don't have a heat gun so I did the oven method

A word of warning DON't Use the Oven method...you run the risk of bits falling off.

forgot to add, dont do this if your ps3 is still in warranty !!

i had heard about the oven method lol. doesnt sound like a good idea !!

It "works" but put it this way I wouldn't recommend doing it!

They won't accept it as a trade in through game if you don't have the warranty sticker on there
