question about PAS leak.

So my power steering had a small leak (couple of drops on drive from over night parking) but over the space of about 1 - 2 weeks the PAS will now empty within a day. Is there a common place that normally springs a leak on these that I can check before I have to take the car in??

Could be the pas switch near the pas pump (part is about £20)

or above the steering rack on the drivers side a piece of heat shield rubs through the pas pipe.
