quick rs tuner setup question

gonna install my rs tuner today just wanted to know what you guys got installed and wanted to know what to go for just plugged it in and its CB1N
and the originals are

RSTuner_6400_5402_2008-11-16_17-05.rst
RSTuner_6400_5402_2008-11-16_17-01.cal

so basically what are my options (want to make sure i dont c**k it up im good at messing things up) and what would you recommend? cheers.

First off using the write ecu functions use any of these maps -

They can be found here- http://www.fastchip.nl/content/view/33/27/

As long as the map you use starts with a 6 you should be fine. Once thats done (takes about 20minutes)

Install one of the following calibrations using the write cal function -
Id just use the one which matches up closest to your current ecu version eg you said yours is currently 6400_5402 id prob use 6500_5404 as thats the closest match

So if i were you id prob install -

6500_5404 .rst
and
6500_5404 RON98 dec 2008.cal

Good luck mate :) Just make sure you backup your standard ecu map using the read ecu and read cal functions.

nice one cheers. i was just wondering what the difference was between all the .rst as the 6400 one says group N but the others just say standard.
