Whats the best weapon to use on this game? I love the Scout Tactical sniper rifle with 6x/12x zoom, but obviously a machine gun is the order of the day.
The G3KA4 and Commando552 are pretty reliable, and also the SCARC-H CQC.

I usually go with what the stats of the weapon are. Mind you, saying that, the Raging Bull pistol is very powerful but takes an age to get a rapid fire across. Its stats are better than any of the other pistols. Desert Eagle for me, pistol wise.

Do you go with the stats or personal preference?

^ yep, had a bit of a lads night in with one of the mates bringing 360 with rainbow6 & cod3
amazing looking games but the best graphics in the world simply let down by prehistoric joypad/controller that is light years away froma good gaming mouse + kbrd, i got so wound up by their inaccuracy i couldnt be arsed after 30mins

If I played any FPS online with a console controller Id get owned within 10 secs, too slow, too inaccurate

^^^ eh?? I think the controls are pretty good, ok you got to learn them, but I haven't had a problem with it. I wouldn't say Vegas has the best graphics - from the games I've played so far, that goes to Gears of War.

Anyone got some tips on how i raid the chinky retaurant? Tried it briefly before i went out tonight and got my arse shot off.

i was stuck on the restaurant bit for ages. best tactic to use is goto a door, frag and clear, call your men back outside or they will get shot to s**t. use the sniper rifle to pick off as many tangos as possible. then goto a different door and repeat the process. takes a while but it does work

I thought the only way in is through the windows, whilst abseiling down? Thus me and my team getting shot to pieces.

ah right you're just on the first bit. Send the team down first, they should take out a couple of people, even if they get shot u can clear up and just heal them

When I got home from work I re-tried my raid through the windows in the chinese restaurant/casino, killed all terroists on my first attempt. Doh!

i often found that i could be stuck on a section, far what seemed like ages. got pissed off and turned it off. tried it again the next day and did it first time. its one of those kind of games.

Its a superb game, you'll love it. Takes an hour or so to get used to the controls etc, but once past the first level it becomes awesome...

I'm on GRAW2 at the moment though, as I've finished R6V.

I started again on this last night, for a blast. Still as great as ever. However, I chose Realistic difficulty. F*ck me, its a bit harder... still got to the train yard though

me and my brother play terrorist hunt online together on Realistic, you really have to treat it as real, its wicked. I've been replaying the single player on realistic as well and am over half way through on that.

Me and my mate tried Terrorist Hunt. Its a LOT harder than the normal Story mode.

I always carry a Scout Tactical sniper rifle with 6/12x Zoom too, when available. Awesome weapon.
