rewinding rear brake piston

  GT 86
Evening all, I am sure the answer is somewhere on the forum and I have looked but cannot find it.

Changing the rear pads on my clio 200 this weekend which way does the piston wind back please clockwise or anti clockwise and will I need a rewind tool or will a pair of long nose or similar pliers suffice.
Thanks in advance.

Clockwise.

A caliper winder makes things easier however it can be done without, just try not to nick the piston dust seal.

Renewed my discs and pads on the rear the other week.
borrowed a friends wind back tool and it wasn't even needed, they wound back with ease.
you will know if you are winding them the correct way within half a turn, it's that clearly visible ;)
