RSI rear disc/bearings

  mk4 golf, mk1 rsi clio
Been searching for an hour or so now but cant find what im after so..

I changed the front discs on my 96 RSI. lovely and easy straight forward no troubles.

Then started on the rears but it started to really rain hard and ad to reassemble and call it a day.

But got as far as trying to remove the discs and woulnt play ball.

I had the center cap off and loosened the hub nut(30mm socket) but the discs wouldn't move.
I noticed a cir-clip inside in front of the bearing - does this need to come out first or is it purely to hold the bearing in?
And also while im in the area is it worth changing the bearings or reuse the existing?
On the bearing matter do they need pressing in or does the cir-clip just hold them tight?

Sorry for all the questions - but any help woul dbe absolutly great!!

cheers
Mark

Once the hub nuts removed they normally come off with ease but...

Ive had a few play hell..... Hammertime

I always go with new bearings... They need pressing in, cir-clips just there for show lol

With the disc being stuck on, it could point towards a cooked bearing.... so prob best to get new ones
