Sidelight dash!? Weird one!

This is a weird one, when I turn my sidelights on the light on the dash doesn't turn on. At first I thought this might be the bulb in the dash gone.
Then I noticed when I brake then the light slighty comes on for a few milliseconds!

Anyone had this before and know how to sort it!?

sounds like a bad earth. best check the connectors on the rear lights. they are prone to corroding. this is a common problem

When you turn your sidelights on the dash and clock will light up but there won't be a symbol.

And as for when breaking/indicating, what he said ^

Get some sand paper and wd40 on the connectors

Cheers, didn't look corroded at all but sanded it down anyway and wd40, stopped it as far as I'm aware, cheers
