Steerin control dodgy after bumpy roads !

  Clio Mk2 Ph1 1.2 8v
I've noticed this after puttin alloys on my car, only 15"s so didn'y expect much bother...basically when i pick up a bit of speed and hit a bumpy road and I try and brake it feels like my steering is gonna lose control if i don't grip and slow right down..what could this be down to ?

My front brake discs were stated as advisory items in my MOT last week and I was gonna get them sorted soon but I'm thinking it's not just the brakes ? Brakes seem perfectly fine on a nice flat road from a high speed with no shaking of the steering wheel.

And..i'm not exactly hitting 50 when going on these sorta roads, just normal speed limit so i'm not exactly driving dangerously :)
