steering collumn? roll pin?

Hiya all,

There is major play in my steering and i've found that the collumn is missing a 'roll pin', firstly does anyone know where i could buy one from ? as not sure wether something like this will be stocked, or is it possible/safe to drill a slighly larger hole through and nut & bolt it to stop the excessive play ?

they're roll pins - should be able to find them in hardware stores, fixtures and fastners stockists, etc

for the sake of doing it properly (obv. make sure you get one the right size), i'd not bother drilling to fit a nut/bolt

Yeah cheers mate, just found assortment boxes of them on ebay for sale, but think i'll just go for a trip out tomorrow to local motor factors, and like you say its better to do it properly
