Storm Grey Clio Looking for Value Help

Hi All,

I am looking for a bit of advice into what my Clio is worth as I am thinking about selling it. The lower bits listed below were done by previous owner who was a friend. I have keep it serviced correctly and it's always had what it's needed. Car is a very good clean example of the Clio 200. Beanie sport told me it was a 8.5-9k car, interested to see your opinions, Thanks

Currently on 91K

Just spent 2k on it
Beanie sport did a health check and I have that
New Michelin Pilot sport 4 225/45/16 >1k
OS Front Swivel joint done with OEM parts done by beanie sport
Alignment to factory cup
Always serviced on schedule
New Front Disc J Hook
Gearbox rebuilt by Northrop on here
New release bearing
Brake fluid flush

Previous Owner: Work done at 74k below
2010 Renault Clio RS200 - Full fat with Cup packs
Storm Grey (1 of 43), Black roof.
Factory Black Leather comfort seats
74,000 miles, Mot until December 2021.
Purchased from KTEC car sales in December 2020
Around £2500 spent since purchase (all major parts from RPD , KTEC and KAM Racing with
receipts)
Very tidy car in general. Many additional receipts prior to my purchase of her.
Pretty much mint underneath with no damage or corrosion on body or pipes / lines.
A few very minor age related marks but no corrosion or anything serious.
Underbonnet + Work since purchase
Exhaust standard / Intake standard.
Engine service – all correct Renault spec oils, coolant , filters
New Thermostat changed
Scuttle drains unblocked and cleaned
New Spark Plugs
New Wiper blades (linkage was previously replaced)
New Aux Belt & Tensioner
New Top & Bottom engine mounts – new Renault parts, also have poly bushes (not fitted as I
tried them and found it too intrusive)
New Poly bushed gearbox mount
Clutch fluid changed
Gearbox oil changed
Bonnet gas strut fitted
New lower radiator frame fitted
New Air Con condenser just fitted by local specialist and system recharged – fully working.
Will require cam belt next year based on age – have a receipt from previous change

New Royal steering wheel retrim
New Alloy Renaultsport gearknob
Seat belts cleaned
New Alcantara gearlever gaitor from Kustom Kolor
Renaultsport floor mats / Matching boot mat
New Pioneer Stereo with DAB
New Renault Clio Mk4 DAB sharkfin roof ariel
New Rainbow component door speakers / tweeters
New Underseat amplifier with variable bass control
New Boot floor small subwoofer – very neat and unobtrusive but sounds great
New Small rear flip spoiler – easy to remove if you don’t like it
No corrosion anywhere. Paintwork 95%+ in my opinion
Suspension ,Brakes, Wheels & Tyres
New Godspeed J hook discs all round
New Brembo pads
New front caliper pins

New front braided hoses
Wheel stud conversion.
Brake fluid changed
New Cup dampers all round (less than 1000 miles)
Left hand front ball joints replaced plus ARB & anti rotation link
Both front top mounts replaced
New 8 inch Speedlines – Satin black from KTEC (approx 1000 miles)
New Michelin PS4 225 width tyres (approx 1000 miles)
Some other spare parts plus everything removed (ie: Standard Stereo) to go with car.

Hi mate,

Stunning example, aside from the obvious lack of Recaro's it's a great spec. I would value this car at £8k as that's what I would be prepared to pay for it if I were in the market for one. Looking at similar examples currently on the market or what have just sold I would say £8k minimum.

I think Beanies valuation is spot on.

I think that's my old car. Wife's car had for 6m in 2012 before a Z3M Coupe drove past & turned our head....

I got it sight unseen from 1st owner who I had got a mint 197 Cup from a year before. So happy to buy without seeing. He moved onto a Meg 250. Then we sold for a Z3M otherwise would have been a keeper.

Only issue when we had was a weird dent in the roof. Sure sorted by now.

Great car.

Needs to be £2k less through having no boot spoiler.
