Timing

Just bought a 172 and just had it checked over by a friend of mine who is a mechanic and he's informed me the timing is out. It sounds a little lumpy on tick over and I've never had 1 b4 so couldn't compare it to any thing any advice or experiences would b appreciated thanx

That's what my friend has said. He's learnt the hard way and made the mistake himself will it make a big difference it runs fine but he said once done it would make a he'll of a difference?

So I would notice it if it was done best get it sorted the just didn't wnt to spend moony for no reason

Have the cambelt tension checked also, common for that to be out too

Wow I'm deffo going to be getting it sorted ASAP I've never noticed any loss of power because it's was done before I bought the car so I might just give it a full service and get it all sorted apart frog that it's a awsom car especially for the price I paid for it:rasp:
