touch up/respray

hi my m8s focus st170 got keyed the other night. basicly its the length of 2 doors, on one side (drivers side) and only on the doors. Its been scratched down to the undercoat so you caqn see the white. Basicly hes looking at getting it resprayed, just wondering what sort of price he will be looking at as he has no idea whats going to be good or bad.

if its right down the door (edge to edge), your gonna paint out whole side (wing, f door, r door, r quarter), lookin at 350 or so, depending where you go, shop around might get it cheaper.

also play bodyshops against each other.

go get a quote, go to another garage and ask if they can beat that quote, go to another n try beat it, usually thatll knock off a shitload if theyre hard up for work
